Red Eft Games is a literal mom and pop shop creating board games from scratch. The boards are hand made right here in Vermont.
These hardwood boards are cut down to size, sanded, edged, oiled, and varnished by hand. The images are burned primarily by a high tech laser but the love put into making these game boards doesn't come from a computer chip. It comes from the hours of hard work routing each edge, sanding repeatedly between steps to remove rough edges, and oiling the wood to keep it safe from moisture. All to create that timeless look of a well finished game board that will last long enough to pass down as an heirloom.
